Tarot: Wheel of Fortune

One of two tarot images I worked on for a themed images project in Illustration II. It's something of a combination of space imagery and clockwork or

steampunk imagery, something that could well be what my friend calls "Dreampunk." In any case, it's all about the gears.

I had originally intended to do only the two images for the project, but these were quite fun to work on and so I suspect I will be doing more in the

future, at least all the Major Arcana. I don't think I'm quite ambitious enough to try and tackle an entire 78-card set.
