A very early work for my Watercolor class. This was a six-color painting. We were required to paint still lifes, but I spiced mine up a little (because

let's face it, most still lifes are terribly static) by enacting a mini-drama with a small stuffed penguin I had and about a dozen origami paper cranes.

The army marches out! But who are they marching towards?
