Another painting for my Watercolor III class. I had an itching to do figure painting again, and ended up with this arrangement, part of a photo I

took at last year's Yayoi Matsuri (spring festival) in Nikko, Japan. The figure, at least, is from the photo. The background is entirely made up.

 

This painting was featured in the Spring exhibition at the Athanaeum ArtSpace, during Indianapolis' "First Friday" art event in May 2009.
