"A Helping Hand"
This was the second painting for my digital rendering class. It was mostly an experiment in working without the crutch of lineart that I had used
for some time. It took some time to decide on the composition; I knew I wanted to do something with ruins and forest and roots, and the obvious
choice for something like that was to use Mink and Puppy, who after all are constantly wandering around and exploring old forests.
I think it turned out pretty well, although it certainly took longer than I was expecting, even if matters were probably worsened by my deciding to
do an image with a ridiculous amount of textures. It was also an attempt at doing a more realistic version of Mink, which I think was fairly
successful.
