Dream of the Endless

Another Character of the Week entry over at conceptart.org. For this one the prompt was "The Endless," seven characters that Neil Gaiman

created for his comic Sandman. Which is a fantastic series; I love Sandman (it's the book that convinced me comics didn't always have to be

about spandex and superheroes) and I love Gaiman's work in general, so I had to take a stab at the characters, even if I was perhaps a little

more than busy that week.

 

So this is the second Dream, chilling out with his raven Matthew in a sort of odd space dream-time place. Which is about all you can ever pin

down with Dream. I tried to make him look a little younger, and a little kinder, and I think I mostly succeeded. Even if Matthew keeps blending

in with the background perhaps too much.
